You, Me, and Capri

We arrived in Capri via a private boat. Our boat dropped us off at Marina Grande and our Air BnB was conveniently located right at the marina. The apartment we rented for the night was absolutely beautiful. It was on the top floor with three bedrooms, one full bathroom, a kitchen, a dining area, and a huge balcony overlooking the marina. All bedrooms had direct access to the balcony which was great!

After we checked into the Air BnB and relaxed we got ourselves ready for dinner.

Pro Tip: Don’t be like me and think you can walk the “15 minute walk” from the marina to the center of Capri. Find the Funicular ( a cheap and accessible railway on the island that will take you to the center in about 2 minutes. Insert face palm emoji here.)

I had made dinner reservations at Pulalli Wine Bar. Pulalli is not far from the central square and offers some great views when sitting outside. The quality to price ratio is great and the staff makes you feel right at home. I got the gnocchi with vongole ( clams)! Other restaurants I had on my list were Aurora Mia, Cuccurullo Aldo, and Chiosco Tizzano Di Natalia E Antonio Tizzano.

After dinner, we walked around and ended up at Le Camerelle Ristorante for drinks and dessert.

The next day we woke up and had breakfast at Capri Gran Cafe. I kid you not, this has the best iced coffee during my entire trip here. It was so fun to sit and people watch while enjoying a coffee and smoked salmon.

After breakfast we made our way to Anacapri. We took the bus but you could also take a taxi. While visiting Anacapri we did some shopping and took the chair lift Monte Solaro. I highly recommend prioritizing this even if you only have a few hours on the small island.

After taking in the breathtaking views of Anacapri we took a taxi down to Marna Grande, picked up our bags, and had a quick lunch at Lo Zodiaco Capri as we waited for our ferry back to Positano.
